“ We came here because my daughter was craving barbecue sandwiches, and this was the closest to us on the way home after our hike. I asked for their recommendations on the sides and ended up choosing fried okra and mac & cheese. The fried okra was delicious. The food was great and the service was awesome. The hostess Bella was super sweet and engaging. You don't get service like that very often anymore. I would highly recommend this place and would come back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience. ”
“ Absolutely wonderful place and I highly recommend coming here if you are in Fallbrook! We wanted burgers after a decent hike and decided to try this out. It is located in an old firehouse and has an eclectic ambiance. They have T-shirts from a bunch of breweries on the walls, pictures of the old firehouse and other cool art. They have tables and booths and everything is super clean. The lady who took our order was very nice, friendly, helpful and checked in on us intermittently, which was nice. We ordered the beef brisket sandwich with a side of beans, the Nashville fried chicken sandwich with a side of fried okra (both sandwiches with slaw inside the sandwich rather than on the side), a beer and a cider. The Nashville Fried chicken was excellent! Fiery, saucy, crunchy, absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating it! Slaw inside the sandwich is the way to go by the way, as they only do meat and bread otherwise. The brisket was also good, but needed more sauce and felt a little plain flavor wise when compared to the blast of flavor from the Nashville fried chicken. The fried okra with the spicy mayo dip was excellent and I recommend taking this as a side. The beans were decent but, again, felt blah in comparison to the okra. Both the beer and cider were excellent. The pricing is also reasonable. We will definitely be back! ”
“ We love this place. They have the best food in the world and the best customer service. We love everybody there Melissa and Ivan and everyone there is just amazing. We go once a week. ”
“ I had the BBQ Platter. Food is very good. There is a lot of seating so it is comfortable to eat there. If I have to choose I still prefer the Rib Shack Que but this is close. ”
“ The tritip plate was awesome! I had the garlic mashed potatoes which was recommended by Bella and it was fantastic. Bella and Melissa were super friendly and the service made our meal even better. The tritip was smoked perfectly and I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back!! ”
“ Ordered the 2 meat combo with the brisket and the ribs. Sides chosen were the beans and mashed potato. Also ordered 1/2 lb of tri-tip, and a free peach cobbler for checking-in. Overall, the ribs were the star of the entire meal. Fall-off-the-bone tender, not doused in sauce, and absolutely delicious. Would have been totally happy with just a rack of the ribs, but happy I tried the other meats. The brisket was good, but not as marbled as I would have liked. Flavorful, but not something I would order again unless I knew it was on the fattier side. As for the tri-tip, I'm really glad I ordered it, as it was tender, and not dry. The peach cobbler was unfortunately mushed into a cup. Couldn't really tell what-was-what, and wished there was a crust to it. If ordering to-go, maybe suggest putting it in a box to help retain some of its pie-shape integrity. Overall, great meal. ”
“ Nooommmmmnoomm so good. Got the brisket/tritip (forgot about the ribs so I'll have to come back!) okra (of course) and mashed potatoes. Bread pudding stttuuuuppiiddd good Iced tea was delish. I'm STUFFED and have leftovers :))) The bartenderette is a doll :)) ”
